Product Introduction
  The plate and frame filter press is a high-efficiency pressure filter device and solid-liquid separation device independently developed by Jiutian Machinery. It is a kind of space-separated solid-liquid separation device. The filter plate and the filter frame are arranged to form a filter chamber. Under the pressure of the feed pump, the feed liquid is sent to each filter chamber, and the solid and liquid are separated by filter cloth filtration. The device has greatly improved the traditional membrane filter press, and has the advantages of low investment cost, high dehydration efficiency, small floor space, good treatment effect, simple operation, and maintenance, etc., and there is no need for additional secondary press pressurization equipment and press media, large compression ratio, direct force, high pressure, short working cycle, production efficiency is 3-4 times that of traditional membrane filter press, can be widely used in deep dewatering of sludge, river dredging, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, coal mine , metallurgy and other fields.


Equipment composition
  The plate and frame filter press is composed of several alternately arranged filter plates and filter frames with concave and convex patterns, mainly include filter plate, filter frame, clamping mechanism, frame and so on.
  1. Filter plate: uneven surface, the convex portion is used to support the filter cloth, and the groove is the flow path of the filtrate. The round hole in the upper right corner of the filter plate is the filter channel; the round hole in the upper left corner is the washing channel;
  2. Washing plate: the washing channel in the upper left corner communicates with the grooves on both sides to allow the washing water to flow into the groove;
  3. Non-washing plate: the washing channel is not connected to the grooves on both sides;
  4. Filter frame: filter channel – the round hole in the upper right corner of the filter frame; wash water channel – the round hole in the upper left corner of the filter frame.
  In order to avoid the wrong order of installation of the two plates and frames, one, two or three small buttons are often cast on the outer sides of the plates and frames, respectively. The non-washing plate is a button plate, the frame has two buttons, and the washing plate is a three-button plate.

Working Principle
  The plate and frame filter press is the intermittent operation, and each operation cycle consists of five stages of assembly, filtration, washing, unloading, and cleaning.
  Assembly: Put the plate and frame in the order of 1-2-3-2-1-2-3, put the filter cloth on both sides of the filter plate, and then fix it with the manual or motorized pressing device to make the plate and the box is in close contact.

  Filtration: slurry → filter cake in the frame → filtrate through the cake and single-layer filter cloth → discharge. The suspension is fed into the filter channel at a specified pressure, and flows into each filter frame through the channel; the filtrate passes through the filter cloth on both sides of the filter frame, and is discharged along the channel of the filter plate surface to the filtrate outlet; the particles are trapped by the filter cloth and deposited on the filter cloth. After the filter cake is filled with the full-frame, the filtration is stopped. According to the discharge mode of the filtrate, it is divided into the bright flow and dark flow.
  Washing: washing water → washing plate → filter cloth → filter cake → filter cloth → filter plate discharge. The washing water passes through the washing passage to enter the sides of each washing floor from the hole in the washing floor, driven by the pressure difference (formed by closing the filtrate outlet on the washing plate), First pass through a layer of press cloth and a filter cake of overall frame thickness, then pass through a layer of press cloth, and finally discharge the filtrate through a groove on the surface of the filter plate (a button plate) to the filtrate outlet.
  Discharging and finishing: open the plate frame, unload the filter cake, wash the filter cloth and the plate and frame.
  1. Large compression ratio: The spring compression stroke of the device is large, and its compression ratio is also larger than that of the membrane filter press. Therefore, the secondary press pressure is large, the feed filtration load is reduced, and the working cycle is short.

  2. The effective filtration area is large: the pressing method of the equipment is parallel extrusion, no dead angle, while the membrane filter press is semi-arc-shaped extrusion, uneven force, and has bumps, occupying an effective filtering area.
  3. The pressure of the secondary press is large: the pressure of the equipment directly comes from the pressure of the hydraulic cylinder, which is direct press, and the press pressure can reach 5-7 MPa.
  4. High working efficiency: The single batch working cycle of the equipment is 1.0~1.5h, and the working efficiency is 3-4 times of the membrane filter press.
  5. Less auxiliary equipment: This equipment uses a hydraulic system, which does not require additional pressurized equipment. The membrane filter press must be equipped with pressurizing auxiliary facilities such as water tank, air pressure pump, press water pump, air compressor and gas storage tank.
  6. Long life of the filter plate: The filter plate of the equipment is made of steel material, which is not easy to be damaged. The service life of the filter plate is long, up to 5-8 years, and the replacement cost of the filter plate is reduced.
  7. The amount of filter cloth is small: because the filter area is much smaller than the membrane filter press, the amount of filter cloth is also correspondingly much less, which can greatly reduce the replacement and maintenance cost of the filter cloth;
  8. It has a strong adaptability to materials. Due to the high operating pressure, the filtered slurry with small particles and high liquid viscosity can also be applied.
